Why we see things

Updated: May 8, 2019

In response to Climate Change

The main aim of this website is to collate my work on projects in response to the slow and gradual changes happening around us due to Climate change.

The website would be a collation of the adverse effects of climate change focsuing on the nature and marine life.

It would bring to light those changes that often go unnoticed.

I visited the Georgia aquarium during the spring break and couldn’t stop wondering if an aquarium was a safer environment for all these wonderful marine creatures over the vast limits of the oceans and seas.

About Page

The About Page is a collection of videos of marine life most affected by climate change.

I used D3.js to create the picture of a jellyfish shot by me in Georgis aquarium, using pixels.

Google Maps API

My focus has always been on those adverse effects and changes of climate change that are slow and gradual, our generation might even not experience these changes. But, does that mean that it's not taking place around us?

Through the use of Google Maps API, I want to bring to light the most affected places around the world due to climate change:

  • The Great Barrier Reef, Australia

  • Venice, Italy

  • Glacier National Park, Montana

  • The Dead Sea

  • The Amazon

  • Yamal Peninsula, Russia

  • The Maldives

  • Key West, Florida

  • The Rhône Valley, France

  • Mumbai, India

  • The Alps

  • Napa Valley, California

  • Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

  • Alaska
