Ontological designing is a way of typifying the relation between human beings and lifeworlds. It contributes to shaping what it is to be human.

It is true that we express ourselves through language, our words. It is informally connected with the flow of emotions and provide the basis for the recursive collaboration of behavior through the creation of consensual domains. It is very interesting to mark the difference in Varela’s “know-how” in contrast to Cartesian’s “know-what”. It is extremely important to be able to express our intuitions clearly and take responsibility for our actions.
It would be apt to say that it is through failures that one gets the true feeling of accomplishment of something. Failures help us to comprehend the true implication of our actions and assist us to contemplate with better clarity on how to modify our actions to reach the set goal.

De-futuring is the systematic destruction of possible futures by the structured unsustainability of modernity whereas futuring on the other hand is a future with futures. We often talk about creating sustainable designs and the idea here talks about the fact that it is we humans that create un-sustainability so there is a need for the humans to be redesigned! Modernity, globalism, sustainability, everything needs to be dealt with. Designing by involving human perspective in all steps of the problem-solving process may not be the best way out here. It is recommended that sustainability by design be adopted.
“Nondualism primarily refers to a mature state of consciousness, in which the dichotomy of I-other is 'transcended', and awareness is described as 'centerless' and 'without dichotomies'.” It wouldn’t be a very easy task to inculcate and foster such an attitude of all-encompassing, responsive, compassionate concern in the present cultures.
I found is very interesting to note the attempts to link design and music though disparate notions and beliefs.

There is a very deep thought behind the recognition that all design creates a “world-within-the-world”. Ontological design at large talks about designing of domains in which desired actions and interpretations are created which contributed to create the languages that create the world in which people operate.
